DSS grills Ex-Zamfara Gov, Yari

Operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS invited and grilled the senator representing Zamfara West, Abdulaziz Yari.

A source close to him according to the Nation stated that he went to the DSS office with the former governor of Zamfara State, when they detained him.

The reason for his detention and interrogation has not been ascertained at the time of filling this report.

However, the Public Relations Officer of DSS National Headquarters, Dr. Peter Afunanya, was called for confirmation but his number wasn’t going through.

Tinubu withdraws Shetty's ministerial nomination

He also nominated former spokesperson for the Bola Tinubu presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo. President Bola Tinubu had on Wednesday sent an additional list of 19 nominees The PUNCH reported on Thursday that the ministerial nomination of Maryam Shetty from Kano State by President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday had continued to generate mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media, particularly, Twitter. The PUNCH reported on Wednesday that Tinubu forwarded an additional 19 names of ministerial nominees to complement the previously sent 28-man nominees earlier sent on August 2.
