He explained that visitors have been trooping to visit him while in his hometown of Daura. A statement by Buhari's ex-media aide, Garba Shehu, reads: "He chose to go home in Daura hoping to find the type of quiet he wished for himself, but realizing that this was not the case, visitors trooping in morning, day, and night, he moved out to a more distant place. The Academy in a tweet shared on Thursday revealed that the nominees for the 66th Grammys will be unveiled on November 10, 2023. It also disclosed that the 66th Grammys would hold on February 4, 2024. The event would air on CBS from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. We recall that the Recording Academy had introduced three new categories including Best African Music Performance, Best Pop Dance Recording, and Best Alternative Jazz Album, into the award show. The new categories will receive nominations beginning with next year's show. The Best African Music Performance category is open to both contemporary and traditional music from the African continent, including Afrobeats, Afro-pop, Amapiano, High Life, Fuji, etc.

The gunman and a Nepalese security guard both died after the exchange of fire outside the consulate on Wednesday evening, officials said, giving no possible motive for the incident. “At 6:45 pm (1545 GMT), a man stopped in a car in front of the consulate building and got out with a weapon in his hand,” the official Saudi Press Agency quoted a police spokesman as saying. “Security forces reacted… resulting in an exchange of fire that killed the assailant,” it said, adding that the Nepalese guard later died of his wounds.
